Today I have the great pleasure of announcing the arrival of my first partner within ACE Consulting Group, Alix Zerd.
To tell a little about our common story, we met when I recruited Alix in Japan to help me manage projects on the development side within Gameloft Japan.
Very quickly we became friends as we were both passionate about Japan, games and J-Pop in general. I appreciated Alix’s professionalism but also we were always able to work in a good mood. Even after his departure from Gameloft we were able to keep this friendship by continuing our own path.
Alix continued to build his experience within the Japanese video game industry by working for Japanese developers and publishers. The year 2017 marked a turning point in his career, entering the world of crypto and blockchain and soon co-founding Telcoin, a cross-border payment solution operating on Ethereum, acting as their VP of Business Development and COO.
After leaving Telcoin in 2020, Alix spent the Covid years doing research in the DeFi, NFT & DAOs spaces, before joining Mimo, a decentralized euro stablecoin project, as their VP of Business Development in 2021.
But Alix’s great personal passion has always been music, and while he was in Japan, he created his own indie label called “Jazzy Couscous”. In late 2021, as he moved to San Francisco with his whole family, he finally managed to bring together his personal passion for music and his Web3 expertise by creating Everwave, a collaborative music production platform issuing NFT & organized as a DAO on the Solana blockchain.
Alix therefore has his place to constitute the core team of the ACE Consulting Group because not only will he be able to support me in consulting sessions as Game Developer & Publisher Advisor but also as an Expert Business Development Advisor for those wishing to launch into web3, blockchain or crypto as well as those wishing to launch a business in Music Tech business.
